Present: Erin Ratner (President), Megan Coryat (Secretary), Sophie Winborne (VP)

Absent: Stephanie Assuras (Secretary), Marisa Castagno (President), Christopher Minnick (Treasurer), Klara Naszkowska (VP)

 

Topics:

  • Title 1 Rep will be Sophie Winbourne

    • Erin will email Sylvia and Sophia to sort out this position

    • Position is required because we receive Title I funding, and the representative is supposed to be in charge of using that money to engage the community

  • Maybe books for the read-a-thon?  Or a small library?

  • Readathon

    • “Read for my school” app based system, tracks minutes child reading, facilitates fundraising component—Erin has received emails from interested volunteers

    • Can we do a trial with the app just for the PA Board?

    • Mr. Reilly + teachers working on reading lists

  • Klara’s author friend approved to present

    • Tentatively scheduled for Friday after spring break

    • Two sessions, on Zoom, for younger and then older grades

    • Erin to ask for price approval from general PA after sing-a-long
