HHS PA General Meeting 11/13/21 and 11/16/21

Financial Report:
No financial update due to pandemic transition, Christopher is working to get the onsite materials.
Goals/Current Issues:
The board interested in establishing programs/events to foster community, particularly during this challenging time.
Fundraising is being explored, but we recognize that given the current crisis this might be challenging for many.
The board is interested in helping those students/families who cannot access Google Classrooms. Mr. Reilly noted that this is a city-wide issue. Sylvia is preparing a list of students who do not have access
Parents expressed interest in having a gingerbread house event similar to prior years. The PA may be able to provide some funds to purchase gingerbread house kits (e.g., Trader Joe’s approx. $8). We will continue to brainstorm ways to produce the event:
Zoom at scheduled time?
Do we send kits to families?
How would they get them?
Mr. Reilly addressed the possible school moving full-remote. Teachers are preparing materials to be picked up by families should onsite learning be suspended.
The window to opt into in-person school has closed, but contact Mr. Reilly if still interested.
Calendar:
No established meeting calendar as we try to find out best timing for people given changing in-person/remote schedule.
Mr. Reilly will plan to do Zoom check-ins every Friday 1:35
Sing along is planning to resume 11/20/20 in some capacity. Details will be provided by Wednesday 11/18/20.
